Yes, I'm not a fan of politics in sport and it seems the FIA aren't either it's being investigated. A 10 second penalty should curtail him a bit  Aunties version of events for WIW..

He does hardly any extra Pr for Mercedes F1 but that's the contract to be fair. The sponser's on the overalls must be royally pissed off though, a ten second penalty seems very fair not much point in a fine.

If you look at what he was trying to raise attention about you have to ask where this is all going? I like that he has views and supports things that need attention but not certain this is the way to do it.
How F1 deal with this will be interesting given he is on 8 out of his 12 points already this season and 4 more means a one race ban for what that's worth with the points as they are?
I doubt Liberty Media will be keen to see F1 being politicised given they are US and we are close to the election in the US.
As you say the sponsors could now also be associated by accident with this and backlash in all it's forms is a bummer to have to deal with.

I don’t really mind what it says on his t shirt, but since it’s all business, he could sell sponsorship space on his next fashionable issue and donate the money to the cause.

Some of us think it is long overdue based purely on his driving talents, queenie may be a little allergic to the gangster behaviour from the multi millionaire one suspects.. If she consults Nick the Greek I think we we know the outcome of that conversation..
