Hi Guys
I'm new to the Morgan community and I hope my Plus four will be delivered quite soon. I have a few questions:
- I was not very enthusiastic about the seats. Are there upholstery specialists who can make the seats more "grabbing"?
- What is the production time at the moment? I have ordered the car in the beginning of September and the dealer ensured me that it will be ready in December is that realistic?
- What about fitting an LSD? Are there companies who already have experience fitting an LSD to a new plus four?
- I have heard that the engine is easily tunable to 310HP. If you combine this with an LSD will it be ok or are the tires too skinny?

Welcome PiGo, A local dealer quoted 3 months lead time to me.
Allon White have a trimming department with a solid reputation, I would speak to them first about any trimming requirements you may have. I’m not sure what LSD is apart from a psychedelic drug so cannot advise on that .
Regarding tuning the BMW engine, it may be tuneable but I can see 2 issues. Firstly It may invalidate the warranty and secondly I’m not sure if the ECU is BMW or Morgan which could have an impact on what would be possible. Cain at Wolf Performance may be able to advise.

Hi, after a conversation with the factory, the ECU is a BMW with a "possible small map difference", that I translate personally in "no difference"  If you want to tune the engine you can use a BMW 330i tuning map (b48 engine) and refer to this interesting page  https://bmwtuning.co/b48-tuning-guide-300whp-for-1500/

Thank you for your feedback! LSD stands for Limited Slip Differential very strange you think of drugs 🤔 😜😜😜. Aldough an LSD can be very addictive 🥳🥳🥳
