Yes it is the inflatable lumber pad, the Frontline MGB has them as can be seen in these photos.

Not sure if I prefer them on the floor as per the Morgan or possibly in the way of putting the seat belt on like the Frontline. Something to think about and possibly move.

Regarding the Limited Slip Diff I would think it is essential in a powerful rear wheel drive car like the new Plus four. Having driven Nissan Silvia's with both open Diffs and LSD's the LSD's are a lot safer in the rain.

Our Brooklands has those lumber supports in exactly the same location

Hi Guys

I have spoken with the factory and apparently they are in the process of changing the seat padding for more comfort. The cars delivered after 11/2020 will normally have the amended seat design. So l'm looking forward testing the new seats. It looks like the lead time is at the moment 10 - 12 weeks so pretty fast :-).

What was the answer to the fitment of an LSD ?

About the seats padding change, do they change both PlusFour and Plus 6 or only the PlusFour ?

Hi Dada

I haven't asked that specific question but they said that there should be minimal difference between the Plus four and Plus six seating so I assume both will be changed.

Kind regards

Quote Morgan Factory:

When testing the Plus Four and Plus Six with our and BMW’s chassis development engineers, we had cars fitted with both LSD’s and open differentials. There was debate at the time as to whether the LSD improved the drive of the higher power Plus Six, but the consensus was that all preferred the more progressive character of the open diff. This was even more the case for the Plus Four. We haven’t fitted an LSD to any customer cars, and are not sure it would deliver any real-world benefit.

Kind regards
