Hello everyone. I've just bought my first and probably only Morgan (a 2017 Plus 4) - an ambition from many decades ago. When I had barely learned to drive, my brother and I used to share a Ginetta G3, in which we had a go at a few sprints and hillclimbs - very much on a shoestring budget. At that time we lived in Worcester and our parents still live in Malvern, so a Morgan connection arose from that time. My brother went on to have a few successive Morgans but it's only now that I've decided to squander (or invest!) some of a pension pot and savings on a lovely blue driving toy. Living on the south edge of the Lakes, with the Dales only half an hour away I am spoiled for interesting roads and scenery to enjoy. Being recently retired I can choose the nice days to go for a drive and I also look forward to meeting a few other Morgan owners when circumstances allow. I've already joined the MSCC and am about to join Fellmog.
I may have a few questions in due course!

Sorry about the photo - I'm working on it! I'm used to showing pics on other forums but it doesn't seem to work the same on here. I'll fix it very soon, hopefully!

EDIT - photo now visible

Welcome from another Worcestershire lad, although I left in 1969 , and sadly my parents passed away some years ago.

I also dabbled in sprints and hillclimbs initially , but it was racing that really hooked me.

I too have a real love of the Lake District , but the area I know best is the northern part around Cockermouth. I must admit the roads through the lakes are tad crowded with grockels these days for me , so I prefer the Dales for more open motoring.

Enjoy your new Morgan to the max, but just take a few months to learn it, and get used to the lack of driver aids etc , especially coming from modern saloons.

Welcome to TM Keith. Smart Plus 4 you have thumbs

The "img" tags require an image link to display typically ending in .jpg. Yours has a lot of extra web formatting stuff afterwards hence it didn't display automatically.
