Factory refuses to cover and suggests there is no problem with the vehicle. I asked why it is impossible to obtain a replacement in a timely manner. No answer as of yet. Warning 4/4 Sport owners, only drive on ribbon smooth roads. Doug

This has taken the factory 3 Months and is not impressive. My son in law works for the Blue Oval in a managerial role and quite frankly can't believe this level of lack of service. As a total enthusiast of the marque (Morgan) I struggle with the loyalty sometimes especially as several bits have become un-glued from my 4/4 Sport in 12.5K miles. This was not a problem with my +8 - just maybe quality control needs a little looking at - IMHO they are producing too many different models with inadequate quality control at present and in the bigger picture this might not bode well for the future as has proven the case for quite a few manufacturers. Lets hope they prove me wrong Good luck with your screen.

From my experience, hand built cars take up to 2 years to get fully de-bugged. As long as one goes in with eyes-open I do not really see this as a huge issue. HOWEVER success is reliant on support from the manufacturer, it seems that the MMC is taking a much tougher line on warranty work, to my mind that should be the worry for new owners.

Handbuilt is always a bit like children you're never sure what you will end up with but at least no bits fell off any of my 3 youngsters. I don't recall reading of any failures of the infamous handbuilt Aston Martin V8's either.
Yes I quite agree good product support = GOOD SERVICE and I think that is the very groundswell a few of us " Windscreeners " are feeling that we are not receiving IMHO.

Am I glad the insurance covers it at £972-07, the excess is almost a pleasure to pay. Meanwhile I'll try and find some ribbon roads on Dartmoor Douglas Duncan lest it should crack again More smiles per mile in your Morgan
