Librands do a cup holder.
cup holder

I use a flip top water bottle that lies on top of the prop tunnel.

Always worried about loose objects that can roll or slide into the footwell from under the seat after getting something stuck behind the brake pedal on another car once.

Agreed. That is a concern. I am trying to think of the racing bik driver who died on the A1 when an aerosol got behind his brake.
I am also not so sure how safe the Librands holder is given the harsh suspension on a trad. The cup easily spill I guess.

Yes Rob/John exactly.
We want something that will prevent bottles rolling about. The 4 seater has a flat area between the seats where I’m thinking of fitting some form of cradle that will retain two small bottles.
Under the seat has been out M.O. so far but the bottles escape under braking when full.

I wonder if there is something from the cycle world that could be easily adapted? I had a double bottle holder on one of my bikes but now have single, frame mounted holders.

Good day at Prescott Richard smile

That's good Graham, the weather looked handsome, if you were wearing your wide brimmed hat I'm pretty sure I spotted you.

160 mile trip back from South Yorkshire following a week's cruising on my narrowboat, the first this year. Pictured here at Stainforth on the Keadby canal between rain showers.

Set off from Thorne expecting it to warm up a tad but gave in whilst shivering in Newark and put hood up. Essentially dry though breezy trip, and 36 mpg averaged without pussyfooting. Those new side pipes are certainly not harming fuel economy.

I've put some surprising miles on the Roadster since June, so we thought the old F Super ought to have a run out

At the blue Danube river this morning.
Bright sunshine, no wind, great autumn day.
