Thanks all for the advice. That seals it: it will now be left with all its war wounds! Good job I didn't show you the other side though!
It just needs a new Royal Navy flag and a bit of rigging to complete it: this had the secondary purpose of keeping the funnels and control tower in place. Unfortunately it's box and instructions disintegrated after putting the ship away without drying properly. This lack of protection may explain some of the chips.

Some years back I rode pillion on a Zundapp Bella, as a teenager, it was not a favourite amongst the Mods at the time. A four stroke if I remember correctly..? Looks to be in concours condition... Ride safe...

Just bought this for a bit of fun, may even hook it up on the back of MH and take it Touring with us. Does it class as an Antique (65yrs old) 1955 I wouldn't take that on holiday in a MH, I'd have it hanging on the living room wall as a piece of art. Mrs D might have an opinion on that though.

There were only 250 of them made and consequently they're now highly collectable and fetch hundreds. My mate can't find his!
