Sad to hear he passed away as he was one of Charles' testers for the original Aero 8 development car and helped Charles make the Aero's a stunning car to drive, especially after driving 9000 miles alongside Charles in Gumball 3000 and VMax. Rest in peace Chris.

That really IS sad news - i´d hoped he´d be able to experience the 50th anniversary event of his & R.S.-B.´s LeMans victory next year.

The great bit about the Aero is the Chassis -- all down to Chris Lawrence -- not so sure that the styling was Morgan's finest hour, but -- hell, it's a Morgan and I'd love one!!!!
Sad that Chris didn't see the 50th anniversary celebrations.

Excellent article on him in this months Miscellany, also came across these two excellent photos of him on the MMC website with P1 AER and a sliver of AR08 MMC, my former Aero Series 1 and the AeroMax prototype; now owned by Rich. I've asked the Works for copies of both photos, as I would like to frame the one of him and Kermit.
