. Always use a cockpit cover as well when parked long term in the wet. Belt and bracers.

Agreed . I use the hood & a cover. The S1 Roadster is a bugger in very heavy rain as it falls on the coil pack & you get misfires. I made a cover also for the coil pack. Mine is a bodge but DaveW's as always is a work of art.

Hood and simple cockpit cover for me; though the latter is more for added security.
However, one of the significant benefits of the reduced louvres on my 4/4 is that the engine electrics stay nicely dry!
wink. woohoo

The poor things locked in with no natural day light or fresh air. The electrons would be in a spin if they knew where they were.

Another great day out for the Great Escape Gang. Today there were only the Brooklands Boys on the trip.

Morganthefreeman kindly collected me to pick my car up as it was having paint protection film fitted by "Window Film Centre" of Ipswich who did a great job.

He let me drive Bertie to collect Belle and now I am in urgent need of a sports exhaust. laugh2

We then had coffee near Denham on the River Stour before fish and chips at the Butt & Oyster, Pinn Mill on the River Orwell.
On the way back I went down to the beach in Felixstowe as I didn't want the fun to stop.

All in all a lovely road trip. drive

Spot the film if you can. It is on the front wings, cowl, bonnet under the bonnet strap, sills & rear wings.
