Different rules for different areas.
Boris was questioned today in PPQ by Starmer.
Why is Hillingdon (Boris constituency) not in lockdown with 65 cases/100,00 population yet others are in lockdown at 20?
Evasive non answer as usual. A Dominic Cummings interpretation, no doubt!
Also, why can people in lockdown areas travel to low case areas for holidays? Our town is in local lockdown. No in or out unless for work or ESSENTIAL reasons only.
I can’t go 4 miles to my regular golf club yet can go to one 1 mile away due to an inter club agreement to cope with lockdown and allow members to play as a temporary measure.

equally daft, I cant go to the pub with my (living alone and very careful) pal yet I can go to the pub with as many strangers as they can fit inside!

We have the same sort of paradox here. The pubs and bars in Paris are all closed. My pub is just outside that area. We are bracing ourselves for an influx of refugees from Paris this weekend. If the net result of closing bars in an area of high infection rates is to encourage those in that area to travel to a neighbouring zone with low infection rates, it's really not achieving the desired result.

It seems to me a more business as usual but with enhanced bio security for those who need to shield is the solution . The current approach will destroy our culture & economy.
