Thanks, it's got to be done sometimes doesn't it.
No just go as as she is exercising normal slippy driving techniques, I wouldn't be out if I expected to meet anybody else mind you I don't have much faith in some of them.

Lay the car up for winter?
Never!
OK not used as much if icy and salted roads but other times yes.
Hood up mostly with unless a crisp clear day (or swmbo instructing) when appropriate clothing worn, but a good idea to leave the hood up to keep it’s shape anyway.
ACF50 or 3in 1? How about Evans Waterless ? laugh2 hide stirpot

I put my winter tyres on - best days of year are frosty with bright sunshine.

Otherwise hood on heater up....

Cheers

Yeah, I drive mine 12 months a year so not much difference for me.And she's outside full time too. I have done the following:

1, Put some more fabsil on the outdoor cover (although fighting a loosing battle here)
2. Put the hood up as it stops the rain pooling on the tonneau cover (as it seeps through the outdoor cover)
3. Start hoovering up all the fallen leaves that will cover my drive regularly for the next couple of months..

Forecast shows a nice gap in the rain this moring so will wap up and take the bike out for a blast (also kept outdoors all year round smile )

Yes, did this at the start of the year and wish I had done it earlier now. I have found the ride to be more comfortable and quieter as well as stickier in poor conditions. I have also noticed that the car doesn't 'tramline' on the roads it used to when damp. Wouldn't venture out in snowy/ icy conditions if there was too much salt on the roads but am looking forward to motoring through the year as always safer in the knowledge that the tyres can cope with the conditions.
