Last nights prog made me cringe with Paddy crashing in the Lamborghini. Embarrassing or what? I feel for the owner of that gorgeous car. I appreciate that it was repaired by insurance but I wouldn’t be happy.

Haven’t watched one for 4 years - since it all got cringeworthy imho 👎

Tyre shredding is of no interest to me....

Childish, shouty and not at all clever. I watched a bit, then turned the TV off and listened to Classic FM.

I've tried to like it, I really have.
But this latest series started with an item done by the last lot (24 hours in a car) years ago and as has been already said, it's all got very shouty.
The problem is that apart from Harris, the other two lack any motoring journalist credentials. The other three at least had that to fall back on.

Oh dear, looks like I’m in a minority of one.
If you are looking for informed in depth reviews of cars then that has been unavailable for years, it is an entertainment show, loosely based around cars which is dependent on the relationships of the presenters. After Clarkson, May & Hammond left (who now front the Amazon, vehicle based travelogue) we had the disaster that was Chris Evans, Rory Reid and Matt le Blanc, Raymond Baxter was probably the last to review cars. These three do have a good on screen relationship.
As an entertainment show it blows hot and cold but is enjoyable, has very high viewing figures and is one of the Beebs highest earners when sold abroad. As for pranging cars it’s been happening for years and it’s what many of its viewers want to see in the same way that BTCC keeps its audience and many watch F1 for especially races like Monaco where once the first lap is over its only break downs, crashes and pit stops that keep the interest up.

I quite enjoyed it too. Got sick of Clarkson so stopped watching, but have caught the last two and will carry on for a bit...

I couldn't agree more, they seemed to think it was almost funny to do that much damage to a lovely car.
I for one won't be watching any more episodes.

Me too. I'm surprised they haven't lunched more cars over the years. TBH, it was probably a result that it was the Lambo that got bent rather than the F40.

The owner of the Lambo was also in the audience, so he obviously wasn't that bothered either....... smile smile
