I strongly advice to get Cain's swivel type fittings.
My Google ability has failed me. Link, please!

Thank you! He's a person, not a manufacturer - that makes more sense.

Keep a good eye on the pipe. I fitted this sort of conversion to my previous Morgan and eventually found one had blocked and as I was greasing it was simply forcing a grease bubble in the pipe - I went back to grovelling underneath as I do with my current car. I think the idea is to check that greasing has worked by seeing it squeeze out of the seal.

Agreed. Mine is a damper blade car so wouldn't use it. Ok so it works perfectly well on newer cars. Obviously you need to check it once in a while

Not if you are in a Dark hotel car park after 500 miles across Europe with your holiday clothes on.

When touring I ever carried a pair of overalls to wear over my holiday clothes. I think that when I bought my Wanner grease gun that the advert said it could generate 2000psi (?) which seems quite a bit for a plastic tube to cope with if there was a blockage issue..?
