Hi I'm going to change Engine oil and Filter on my
2017 +4 2000cc GDI before l put it away for the winter
Could you please Recommend correct oil & filter

The oil type should be specified in the handbook that came with the car. The oil filter will have a reference number stamped on the side, presumably a Ford item but there will be alternative filters that will serve the purpose.

Hi Stuart,
I have the Duratec Plus 4 which uses oil filter ref: AA6E-6714-AA. As you say, the ref you quote ending 17-AA doesn’t seem to come up on an internet search. Perhaps you could ask a Ford dealer who has a parts department for advice in this? If that fails and you have bought the car from a dealer who does Morgan servicing, ask them what filter is applicable.

Most websites don't allow you to search parts for a Morgan so try Ford Focus Mk3 ST 250 (2016) when looking for engine parts.

Ah! My mind’s eye has caught me out. I’ve seen some info on the block at some time but am at a loss at present.

But, I have my engine code in the handbook. It is also stated on the Certificate of Conformity, item 21 that I received with the car.
