I’ve owned my Morgan 3 1/2 years now, and to date I’ve spent to much money on upgrades which I’m sure I wouldn’t get back if I sold her. It’s a good job  doesn’t know she wouldn’t approve  Amen to that! I've had my 1986 4/4 for 20 years and in descending order of benefit, I would list the following modifications
- Replaced 90bhp CVH engine with 165bhp GM Ecotec
- SSL Front suspension
- Mulberry aluminium radiator
- Hi-Spec 4-pot front brakes
- Simmonds hood and tonneau cover
- 4/4 Sport 4-leaf rear springs
- Tubular rear bar with telescopic dampers
- Quaife ATB differential
- Panhard rod
- Anti-tramp bars
- Front brake reaction bars
- Fibreglass wings from Sid Watson
- Headlamp relays
- Convex door mirrors
- Simmonds door top padding
- 'Professional' top spec dash switches from Holdens
- Sidescreen steadies from Librands
- Tool tray under rear parcel shelf
- Uncle Melvyn's roller steering stops
Plus loads of things like stainless fasteners, braided brake lines, rebuilt/replacement parts, LED light bulbs etc which don't really count as modifications as they are basically the same spec as the old.

Like a lot of others my '02 +8 has a had a lot of work, but the top 3 would be:
Simmonds Hood. The car was bought as a commuter car so the "trad" hood would just not cut it. (In fact without the availability of the Simmonds Hood I would not have bought the car.)
Mark Adams Chip; The +8s were delivered with fueling systems designed to drive a 2 ton Range Rover up the side of a house. The chip delivered a more sports care like performance.
Simmonds (Kalft?) rear mirror. Within 6 months I had been through 4 rear view mirrors This is the only one that worked for me (and is rather lovely)
(If I could perhaps sneak in a fourth, it would be the Mulfab battery re-location kit that enable me to get rid of the front fitted, execrable, DMS Red Flash battery and fit a conventional battery in the "correct" position at the rear).
Oh, most useless accessory would be the MMC fitted clock. When trying to debug a 4 day battery life problem, the MMC suggested to unplug the clock. 17 years later I have still not plugged it back in.

I've only made one modification to mine - and not in a tearing hurry to make many more as I like my motors "as supplied" mainly
I fitted Librands Brake Reaction Bars 2 weeks ago (one Saturday when it wasn't raining.......)
So easy
No need to drill anything as they line up directly with an existing nut / bolt on the chassis / tub joint line
Was surprised it was such a noticeable difference - much more of a "solid" feeling at the front end
Which did get me thinking about a panhard rod....... but do I really "need" one for burbling round the roads? I had exactly the same experience with BRBs. I then fitted a PR, and that made a related, but more pronounced change, believe me - even at slow speeds. Of course you don't need it, as you did not need the BRBs. But then who really needs a Morgan... It's all about fun, pleasure and the driving experience. But a PR is much more expensive and fiddly to fit. My best three mods: 1. Convex, round stainless steel side mirrors instead of the flat, oval alloy/bad chrome side mirrors + convex front screen SS mirror instead of flat alloy OE. 2. Brake reaction stays 3. Panhard rod By the way, excellent thread. I encourage all newcomers to read! It's strange......... I've just realised... When I bought my car 3 months ago I paid to have chrome wire wheels fitted rather than the painted stainless wire wheels (Modification No 1....) 5 weeks after delivery - I bought replacement "2 ear" knock off wheel nuts to replace the octagonal chrome ones (Modification No 2...) So I have carried out 3 modifications - but only "remembered" the cheapest - The BRB's @£40 I'm now researching Panhard Rods ............. I do fancy fitting them myself - Wish I had a decent sized garage / workshop

As far as I know there are three PRs: Mulfab, SSL and SiFab, all a little different. Mulfab and SSL can be checked out on the net, but I cannot find any info on the Sifab. Mine is SSL, though - worked fine in both fitting and when driving. And excuse the thread drift.....
