That is a nasty rumour. The sun does shine here. Just not very often.

Is this psychological or age related (Bertie is only six)?

Anybody suggest how to fix?

Unbolt the end fittings from the 'screen, pull out the ends and carefully squish the sort of tube part in the visor, refit & Robert's your uncle

This is the correct answer smile

"Squishing" worked on mine, but be really careful - the visors are very tough, but once they start to compress, can go too far and jamb them permanently, according to the mechanic that did mine! Also, protect the leather with something between the vice jaws, or whatever you use to do the squishing!

Thanks Ken. I was going to squish with my fingers - obviously I would have been disappointed with the (lack of) result!

If I recall I peeled back the leather before squishing mine but don't trust me - my memory is not what it once was oldgit

PS. I also ground back the excess flattened part of the rod to very close to the diameter of the head of the mounting screw when in the hole. This was because the latch of the EasyUp hood kept catching on the end of the rod. It looks better finished like that too.

I am sun visorless and had a quote for matching leather visors but thought it was RR/Bentley money.

Having said that the new mog prices are not far off in proportion.
