Or in other words the American elections.
In something of a cliff hanger it seems that Biden is on course to be the next POTUS.
As far as I can see he is far enough ahead that even a recount in some states will not alter the outcome. Of the States that really are still marginal for Biden there are Georgia, Pennsylvania and Nevada. Of these he surely must win at least one and, if I understand the rather strange electoral system, any one of them would give him the win. Any two would make him virtually unassailable.
It seems one of those very strange things that happen in elections that despite the Democrats gaining ground in the Presidential race they are tied in the Senate with 4 seats yet to be decided and the Republicans, whilst still behind, are gaining in the house with 29 seats yet to be decided.
How ironic it would be if the President was a Democrat, Biden, who had to cope with both a hostile Senate and a hostile House.

Agreed.
It started with a bang when all the walk in voters put Trumpet in the lead. Then the early votes and now the postal votes have flipped it.
Now it has not moved for 36 hours and it's all in the margins.
Nice to see that his Twatter account has been busy creating lots of fuss, dis-information and fact free rants.
I live in hope we see change.

I hope we will. I think that was clear when he was ranting at the press conference in the early hours & the networks stopped broadcasting . Also a lot of Republican Senators are now disowning him.
But he could cause Civil War the way he is stoking the fire.
