Yes I did. Just a short 30 mile run mid afternoon in the sunshine. Given that it's forecast for -2C tonight and possibly salted roads this could be the last drive before winter. It's been a pathetic year for mileage <2k.

You're telling me!

I did a 20-mile round trip yesterday for the annual MOT. That brought the total for the last 12 months to a pitiful 384 miles.

To Bawdsey for a walk towards Shingle St & then home via Orford and Tesco. Luckily beating the rain home.

Just a run out for MOT (no advisories), new braided hoses supplied and fitted and fluid changed I tried out a service with my Independent too this time and all up £398 proper job and thoroughly nice people to deal with over the years.

The braided hoses were made 50 metres away from the garage on the same industrial estate and £100 a set in any colour you want and great quality supporting a local firm.
The difference in the braking effort is a marked improvement with the fluid change and hose replacement.

Only 1,600 miles covered this year though.

Steve I think we all have enjoyed the days out. It is such a shame we are in lockdown. I can't wait for when we can get back together again.

+1 . I noted the other day that thanks in part to our weekly escapes, I have still despite Covid, managed to clock up a little over 4000 miles in the last 12 months.

Ditto Richard . 2236 miles in Belle since Sept and a similar amount in the T boned S1 before that.
Long may it continue, an odd side effect is now know the byways of East Anglia with it's pubs & museums far more than I would of normally as I would have been driving elsewhere. Plus of course as a gang we have developed a strong bond.

I drove my 1968 4/4 down to the lumber yard today!

Went to the farm shop today which is about 2 miles from home, parked up and went in the shop. When I got back to the car there was a 3 wheeler parked behind me. Had a chat to the owner and took the long way home, about 25 miles.
