I'd be more after a rolling chassis - would probably bang a bike engine, gearbox and swing arm in. K1100 would be one choice, but quite fancy Triumph Rocket if I could get a salvage cheap enough.

Yeah about £35,500 more than I've got at the moment.

This would be more my area, if I win a few quid on the lottery - £16K F Type

That's a nice one, I love the dash.

Rich the grey one needs spraying to cover the under coat (sorry guys I don't like grey) & is expensive. The blue one does look nice but I think I am a zero brownie points with Brooklands. Another car means the Boss's car goes outside. That is a bridge too far.

and an alternator to charge it which hopefully doesn't take too much of the 8 horsepower!

I think the temperate climate kept people away.

John you are a lucky man. Last monday we made a trip to a beach at the "Ostsee".

A lot people walking around. Several people had to walk together (4-5 Persons) hand in hand. So we had to jump often aside etc. to keep the social distance

Markmuk any drive is a good drive in a '68 4/4. Today I took my '68 4/4 in search of sun but found only fog. The foggiest fog of all fogs is sitting over the Danube basin and my plan was to escape it by driving until I ran off the edge like a sailor who hasn't discovered the earth is round. Alas the fog extended beyond my range and I was forced to return to my fogged in existence. I might not have escaped the foggy sea but I did clear the cobwebs from the Mog and me. And when I look at this pic I see that the Mog formerly known as TWP doesn't look too bad for a never restored '68 er with 105,000 miles on her unreliable clock. Somewhere in the Wienerwald... temp about 1C.
