Kerry, I assume you were searching for the best shop to purchase some eggs or flower to make homemade pasta.
Just driving for fun could have been a violation of lockdown regulations. In foggy conditions you obviously have missed some shops...

The local supermarket ran out of pumpkins so I was forced to drive into the country to find some. Then I got lost in the fog and drove around for two hours before I found my way home again.  Excuse me officer can you point the way to Ottakring?

No, but while using the tin top to take some rubble to the recycling centre I saw a 1950'S Mercedes 190 SL cabriolet heading into Abridge, Essex. Seems unlikely to see a real one on the road so I wonder if there are replicas being built?

No, but while using the tin top to take some rubble to the recycling centre I saw a 1950'S Mercedes 190 SL cabriolet heading into Abridge, Essex. Seems unlikely to see a real one on the road so I wonder if there are replicas being built? Mercedes are famously ruthless in their dealings with replica builders. Normally any new producer will be raided and all molds & tooling destroyed before they have a chance to go into production. Therefore, your 190SL was almost certainly the real deal.
