Don't tempt me! It does look like a great car, and special as the Aeromax is, there are some days when I do miss being able to put the roof down! Still I'll never tire of just looking at the Aeromax - as I may have said to Liz, this isn't a car, it's an art investment....

Hardly comparable though - one has done 30k miles and the other 3k miles! The S4 is nearly new, the S3 has been used (personally mileage is never a concern for me on an Aero as I know they are good for it, but a lot of owners prioritise low mileage).

Even at equal mileage I'd expect the relative rarity of the S4, and the multitude of updates the S4 model benefitted from to keep the S4 priced significantly above the S3.

And the hardtop with the S4, got to be £2/3k worth??

That is probably the most stunning S4 I have seen, especially with the hardtop on. As near an Aeromax as you're going to get, without actually buying one smile

I shall definitely be buying a Euro lottery ticket this week as that would look gorgeous alongside my white SS.

Wish I'd seen that one earlier but unfortunately it's now sold.

Yes, see my comments above laugh but that's my opinion obviously.

And mine! Called in at SGT to change the batteries in my central-locking zapper and the sun was shining and the paint really is something special - Glasurit Black is the name. It is a bit like your S2 Andy in that the colour is metallic black though in this case with under-lying bronze metallic bits embedded. It changes colour when the sun hits it, and becomes almost bronze; I love it. notworthy

The leather is Burnt Orange by Muirhead and the hardtop was £3142.00+ It has never been taken off the car so the hood is unused in wet 9or even dry) weather! There was not much change out of £80k when the car was bought from RTCC and the condition really is 'as new'.

As I said before I'd love to buy this example, but I've run out of garages and funds - times are hard...

doh smile wine

One for 1560 - the delivery driver phoned on his mobile and asked if I wanted to take delivery tonight as he was nearly in the area. What a question?

Absolutely agree with this. My Series 1 was a seemingly immaculate car on £5000 miles when I bought it. The next 10,000 miles cost me nearly £8000 in debugging - it developed every single one of the common faults.

My 48,000 mile S2 has had a burned out wiper motor, and that's it.

I will never buy an Aero without at least 20-30k miles on the clock/evidence of all the usual faults having been sorted out (especially the electrical issues on S4s) again.
