Assuming that the current Minilites are an Aluminium alloy rather than Magnesium, are they still not going to need some form of steel insert?

I have now taken delivery of a nice set of ex Baby Doll Minilites... thanks to Numog!

All I need to do now is get the front suspension lifted to avoid contact between the inner, inside rim and the lower suspension mount, and get the wheels sprayed black.

In response to Robert’s comments, the splined part of the wheel is steel, bolted from the rear into the aluminium casting. Has anyone removed these as I will need to do so before re-painting.

Also running 4 Minilites, I need to decide whether to remove the spare wheel and cover the hole, or try and get a fifth Minilite!

Cain checked out the fit of the Minilites today and I’m gutted to report they are too wide and would clash with the body work! I now need to find a suitable new home for them! PM me if interested!
