I've now received a quotation from Image wheels for a 15 x 6 centre lock Minilite style wheel at just over £1,900. So possibly going to park that idea for the short term and focus on sorting out a few fundamental issues first such as suspension geometry, spring rates etc.

With regards to weight, yes the wires are lighter however the "standard" Minilite adaptor for conventional wheels appears to be significantly heavy, on the Williams website they give the weight as 25kg!
