I'm on my third renewal with Gott & Wynne. Very happy with £271.89 on 5,000miles, A/Val £34k. Yikes, just got my renewal from G&W, £377 for a '88 cvh 4/4. I need to do some talking!

Postcodes make a difference, and limited mileage and no commuting or business use.

Yes, my mileage requirement has dropped a bit, I am currently on unlimited, but I wasnt charged anymore to move from 5k to unlimited So I'll see what gives with a lower mileage I recently moved from the West mids to Newcastle, it seems living oop north is not so cheap afterall! I dread seeing my subaru renewal

For reference, there is another topic about Morgan sports car insurance on the link I have provided. The findings are very similar to this thread and proves it is worth shopping around when considering insurance cover for your pride and joy.

I considered Admiral multi-car but it wasn't as cheap as having the Morgan insured on a classic policy. My last renewal with Footman-James was £128 - no mileage limit and agreed value on an '80 4/4.
My other concern was that while Which? magazine has Admiral near the top of the table for cheap quotes, it is pretty near the bottom on paying out (from memory only Hastings were worse).
