Just ordered the NVH replacement kit from Phil. That and Emil's bevel box filling kit going on with the next oil change
Ah come on, and miss the fun of trying to squirt the oil up hill into a place you cannot reach I am finding that gear oil is an acquired taste.

Hello everyone! I would like to have your opinion about the order of “things”. ... Good list! 1- Phil Bleazey Centa drive upgrade. On my list too The better bearing support is I think as important as the replacable Centa rubbers, but I probably will need the latter sooner rather than later. Done. Recommended. 3- Olhins shock absorbers (both front and back). Not done. Unsure on this one. Probably towards the back of my list... As said earlier - see if you want this after trying the G56s. 5- Empire steering kit for better handling. Not done. 6- Phil Bleazey’s NVH replacement kit for a better bevel box support. Did this over the Summer with the G56. The NVH kit just seems so wrong, and the banging on hard acceleration plain annoying.

4. I changed the cam and it works well without the unlocked ECU. I might get more power with it unlocked but it works well as it but shows a code light of "reached max limits", but I don't need more power. It runs soooo smoothly now. Probably the way the engine was designed and then detuned with the OEM cams for the EU Pollution spec.
You are getting the max limit error code as the stock ECU map is running out of adaptive range. This means you are running with compromised fuel and/or timing at higher revs and throttle openings. I'd suspect it's running lean as the higher lift cams will be increasing airflow. The stock 545 cams pre date the EU emissions EU3 to EU4 change but are USA 50 state emissions compliant whereas the 569 cams are not.

Yes, i knew that was what i suspected was causing the error code but it is there at all rpms and the plugs look like they are burning correctly.
The light at the end of the tunnel is actually a train. 2019 M3W

The Lambda sensors will do their best to keep it running about right when in closed loop up to about 70% throttle, so much of the normal running. Above that it runs on the fuel map and it is there that the fuelling will be incorrect, as Chris99 says. Probably not a good idea to sit on a German Autobahn at 110 mph for too many miles

Also once triggered the error code will either stay until reset by a dealer or Protune, or reset itself after about 10 journeys, depending on the code.
