Having serviced the car without issue I thought I’d smarten up the rear brakes whilst I have the case up on stands, oh dear...
I’ve got new hoses OK, and wheel cylinders, but am struggling with the shoes - I bought them here from a German based online retailer, they say there for my car and the part number checks out with others I’ve found on here, but the hole in the top of the leading shoe for the auto-adjuster is too large and too far away, and instead of a hole for the lower part of the adjust there is a post - has anyone else had this problem or have any advice with regard to part numbers?

Mike GoMog has advice & if PM me your email I can send you the official parts book. I have never done work on the rears but others on here will have. Brakes

Hi Mike,
The part number for the rears are Delphi/Lockheed LS1311, I fitted these to my car around three years ago when I changed the wheel cylinders Caparo/AP CW15953.
I followed the guide that John provided the link for you from Gomog it helped a lot.

Thanks - I got the cylinders from Brown & Gammons and they’re fine (brakes international were out of stock), I used one of AutoDoc’s many companies for the shoes - just trying to sort a refund/ exchange with them now.

Thanks, I did consult Gomog before starting, I think I just made the mistake of taking AutoDoc’s recommendation at face value, and looked at far too many references and part numbers here and elsewhere!

I had exactly the same issue. Correct part numbers and from a reputable source. I sent them back for a full refund after trying to fit them.... they didn't fit properly.
The supplier had not heard of any issues but I took photos and they are clearly different.
I'm still running on the old shoes until I am brave enough to try again.
