B, they aren't known for Harleys but what about Hayward & Scott? They are supposed to be great with custom work.

Thanks Ivan, but what I am really after is someone who can do the Harley sounding exhausts! I'm afraid mine will have to be in chrome... hide

P.S. What about using Inconel?

Isn´t inconel to soft for an exhaust, specially with the vibrations of the S&S engine? Also the inconel I know has a matt finish that doesn´t look very nice.

Thanks Simon, I do know of H&S but thought that if someone was used to S&S engines, and specifically their exhausts, it may shorten the development time. smile

Rudolf: Inconel is quite often used for exhausts (though not cheap) and these people amongst others can do exhausts in it. I agree that it is duller than chrome though. frown2

Thanks Mike, maybe something similar is what I am looking for, though it may be more difficult to fit them on the curved bits that actually discolour. frown

B, in my ignorance, I assumed it was a straight bit of pipe with a bend in it oops

If you speak to the experts Simon (I'm not one!) it seems that it is a little bit more complicated than that...

They did my RPI exhaust manifold, Black inside and Cermachrome outside.

I was very pleased with the results.
