Folks, we're all getting antsy and perhaps cautiously optimistic, or at least hopeful that Springtime will find us socializing again. Having planned the '19 Blue Ridge rally but not able to attend due to a family emergency, I'd sure like to put this redo into the calendar for '21. It's not too early to reserve a hotel/motel. Anyone else interested in a Blue Ridge or Northeast rally in June/July?

I was just thinking of sending you a PM. Skyland would be fun again after two years.

Rodger, I'm thinking the same thing. Or Peaks of Otter? Which has the better daily drives? What worked well and didn't work well the last time?

The Dragon - Egg Zactly. And the twisty road from SW Roanoke to Floyd!

I lived in Roanoke and at Smith Mountain Lake throughout the 90's. Loved it. Some of the best driving enthusiast roads in the country. The Peaks' is a terrific venue. My only concern is if folks think it's too distant from Charlottesville for nightlife. But for access to great roads and camaraderie, the Peaks is sweet.

Last time i was on Smith Mountain Lake we drove back through Ashville and then onto the Dragon.

Then we went through Tennessee and diagonally back across the usa to Seattle.
