Hello, Can anyone recommend a service mechanic in Oxfordshire/Berkshire to carry out annual service on my 2007 4/4? There is nothing particularly wrong with it(!), I just need a knowledgeable, competent and thorough mechanic. Thanks!

I used to live in Wantage and always used Mike Duncan, I didn’t mind the distance involved for once a year, though when Mike was unwell a few years back I did talk to Alan Claridge and found him amenable enough. There’s an MG specialist in Wantage at the old dairy farm http://manorgaragewantage.co.uk/ - they did my gearbox mounts, service and mot; a few years ago very knowledgeable guys

I have a friend in the trade and he speaks highly of Alan Claridge. I asked Alan to do something quite minor for me when I first got the vehicle, he was very willing to help.
