Perez to red bull with a suitcase full of cash Ineos buy's a third of mercedes with three suit cases and Toto puts it straight under the bed ready for Lewis. I do hope Frank Williams makes a recovery from hospital and wish him well. Em

Ditto Em. Shame about Albon, really nice guy and a decent driver (better than Gasly imho) but at least it means Mercedes will have pressure on their race strategies next season - may liven things up for the constructors championship as well as the races

Good news that Perez has been confirmed for Red Bull with Albon placed as reserve and test driver, at least it keeps him up to speed.

That is good news for Perez and F1

Difficult to know who to cheer for next year.

I don't like what Ratcliffe has done with Grenadier

I'm not keen on Christian Horner

I'm not a big fan of Vettel

Maybe McLaren, Mercedes engines, a new injection of money and I do fancy Norris and Ricciardo tor stir the pot up a bit. And I like Zak Brown.

Lewis and Mercedes will probably win again so I'll probably have to settle for second or third place but hopefully take the fight to the Silver (Black) cars.

I feel a bit sorry for Albon he deserves to be in the mix somewhere in the middle, It took them a while to go through the data at red bull they must have had their Tai Rose tints on.......Em

And you think youv'e got problems. I only support Ferrari, always have, always will and what a year I've got to look forward to. Perhaps 2022 will be better!!!

Reg, that's a great line in optimism you have there. The good lady has Italian heritage and stopped watching at the start of 2019!

Ah but Alistair, I tend to think "The only way is up" on the basis that with the amount of money Fiat provide they must get it right sometime !!!!

They went from 1979 (Jody Scheckter) up to 2000 (Schumacher) without a drivers championship, then dominated for a while arguably up to 2007 or 2008.

They will come back sooner or later. Be patient.

I would love to be a Ferrari supporter but it has to be a British based team for me. uk

Bob, well that gives you plenty of choice including Mercedes and Red Bull who are both "foreign" teams. You forgot "The Ice Man" as a Ferrari winner but I am well used to suffering for my pleasure. One day, the church bells in Modena will ring again ( the priest there does it each time Ferrari win a race ) and I will be a happy bunny.
In the meantime, I really, really hope that next season will see the resurgence of Williams as a front running team.
