Hi Jacques,

I don’t have much more info unfortunately. I went back to the receipt for the service when I saw this thread to see if I could work out from the itemised list what might have been changed to resolve my problem. Looking through the items, there are just the 2 that aren’t connected to the standard service items. Water Temp Sender (Part No MF03AJ01) and the DURITE 12v 2x15A (Rover Fuel Pump Relay 080.806). It’s possible that one of them was detected faulty during service and isn’t connected to the idle issue - but I know ‘something’ was detected faulty and changed to cure the problem.

Best Regards

Rich

Hi Rich,

Thank you, it's easier for me now to check. First I'll buy a Fuel pump relay (not hard to find) and make a swap.
After that, if not cured, I'll try to locate the water temp sender, remove it from the place where it's located smile and buy one new with the help your part number, it seems not to be too expensive.

Kind regards santa2

Jacques
