It'll have to be an EV Griffith if they don't get their fingers out.

I wish them the best but sadly fear the worst.

TBF that's not a good sign. 20 million is a great deal of money, but not astronomic, I've written business cases for projects bigger than that. I do hope that the case for TVR has been fully researched & costed, and extends to more than "We reckon if we can build some cars, we should be able to sell them and hopefully still make a profit".

Personally I seriously doubt that the market for big V8s is anywhere near large enough to support a manufacturer like TVR, but I'd love to see the research if it demonstrates otherwise.

I'm with Alistair.

+1. I hope they succeed but expect the worst.

I think it would be nice if Jannarelly and TVR joined forces.

I would love to see this work but to me it's yet another DeLorean debacle where the tax payer will fund someone's pipe dream with next to nothing at the end of it.

I'm afraid that this is the rub. Times have changed so quickly since this re-birth of TVR was first envisaged. The goalposts have been moved, and the market for large thirsty engines is dwindling rapidly; as we all know, in 10 years time it won't even be possible to sell a pure ICE car. Unless TVR can conclude a deal with a supplier to provide them with hybrid technology, the whole thing is a busted flush.
