I think that is the plug for the temperature gauge, not a pre heater

The preheater will i deed get plugged into the mains in the garage. I already have a water proof mount in the gauge panel under the dash. By the way, that looks ace. Well done. You would have to discuss that with Morgan Custom. I am the test bed, along with the one he is building for himself. His tank has another feature which is pretty cool but not necessary for the operation of the oil system but it adds cost and that is a viewing port near the top of the tank so he can see the spraying of the oil back into the tank.

I just installed Emil’s oil tank as well. Very solid and well thought out. Oil lines are better positioned and should allow plenty of venting. I was surprised my oil vent line was filled with oil. The sight gauge to check your oil level is

Visited with Emil yesterday to have him install this happy-venting oil tank (black powder coated) and his fuel pressure system upgrade. Combined with his oil cooler, this is a pretty slick setup. Not to mention, it looks OE and probably should have been.
