If I were a car

If my body was a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model.

I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull...

But that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus,
and it's especially hard to see things up close.

My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

My white-walls are stained with varicose veins.It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it.

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter,
Either My Radiator Leaks or My Exhaust Backfires!

Sometimes I see no need to get all the information.

Good luck and do not try to get a full restoration.
They use hammers, pliers, drills, welding devices, degreaser and worse stuff.

Fortunately (so far) I'm not suffering. However, whether a Canadian pal is in need he hasn't said - hopefully it was just a joke on his part
Hammers and pliers I can cope with. Welding devices and degreasers not so much!

Graham. Forget rubbing in WD40. Single malt ingested is a good solution.
The good thing with growing old is you get away with more.
An example.....you can fart and people accept it as an age related character trait.
You can swear and it is another “he’s a character” moment.

How is your catalytic converter Graham, noxious smells suggesting it need a refit?

Well the age range will preclude the sh8tgibbon playing with it in his retirement.
