I have finally collected my new 1974 plus eight and driven it the three hours from McDonalds in Durham to home, great fun, although motorways aren’t the best Morgan roads but plenty of time for them from now on. I am attaching a few photos for anyone interested. It hasn’t disappointed at all sound great goes well the only problem so far is the Speedo is way out reading 95 when doing 70 luckily I had my sat nav with me so I could check my speed through the dreaded speed camera watched road works. Just got time for another drive before it gets dark.
Steve.

Hi dogmog

I think you got the DB's there what a lovely looking car, I owned a 1994 for four years but these earlier narrow bodied ones really have the edge in all departments.

Enjoy every moment of your Morganing because they are very special motor cars. cheers

Steve, Your words indicate your passion for your car. It looks fabulous.

If you do not want to change the speedo (to retain the mileage), use the satnav to mark up the rev counter with some thin lines of coloured tape on the critical MPH's per gear. It should make the driving more interesting hide
