I would love to but between him and his propaganda managers he keeps rubbing my nose in it
Odd. His "propaganda managers" can't be very good. I spend more time consuming news media than I should, but I had to Google the recent Rapper comments. Until then I assumed that people were confusing one of histories finest racing drivers with a Musical.

I finally caved in to my sister's nagging that I should watch Hamilton, just before Xmas. When she asked me what I thought of it, I told her that I'd been extremely disappointed by the lack of F1 content.

"Well, he out-performed Fernando Alonso in the McLaren (not the fastest car that year or the next when he won his first WC in it) in his rookie year and FA did a runner in fright. His greatest strength is that he always gets the most out of any car he is in, so if it is possible to win a WC in a car, he will probably do it. If I was black and had a voice, I would use it too. As for tax, they all do what he does and Monaco looks a great place to live to me." I do not mean any of my comments forcefully. I have always said I believe he is damn fast. I am looking forward to that being proven/disproven in the near future as F1 could do with spicing up a bit. His lines through corners, balance and other techniques often remind me of Prost but with a bit more push when needed. High praise. I don't like paying extra tax if I don't have to but even in my position in life I believe that it is good give back when you are able. I would love to see him doing more things like Marcus Rashford does, this is what earns the equity and respect and sadly I do not see this either from his public appearance or the PR delivered around it. Hence my comment. Monaco is nice in some ways, I can attest to that, not certain I would like to live there forever mind you, it's not me! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/07/05/IMG_0026.jpg)

Sometimes I get the impression that Monaco is a prison for the super-rich - the high price for the tax advantages. Just under 20,000 inhabitants on one square kilometer, so cramped and so small and certainly very boring in the long run...not my cup of tea even if I could afford it.

I don't think Sir Lewis actually spends much time there tbh. I think I could stand a couple of months a year there just about.

I've only google earthed Monaco once. To me it looked ghastly. Just a concrete jungle.
I would rather live away from crowds North Devon would do.

Yes there is little chance of people confusing the two on that front Dave. It felt a little like one of those SIM computer games where you just keep building denser and higher.

We have friends that farm near Hartland Point and it's great visiting in the summertime, too isolated for us to live though we have too many friends down here and the winter up there is savage. Heather suffers with Raynaud's otherwise we would have settled in Shetland alongside my best pal who hails from Fair Isle so he's a Norwegian at heart.
