I have a 2018 Plus4
The standard dash puts a set of tell tale indicators right in front of the driver. Hopefully when driving the only ones that light up are the turn signal and the main beam.
They are very bright, probably LEDs
During the day not a problem but at night the main beam indicator in particular which is the topmost one is almost blinding, to the extent that I rarely use main beam or have to drive with one hand at the 12 o'clock position on the steering wheel (not a good thing).

So suggestions please
One would be to fit some neutral density filter sheet ?

A suitable resistor in series with warning light would dim it.

Or a potentiometer which would allow you to set the brightness you want. A bag of them is very cheap from RS Components.

Stick a piece of coloured cellophane or similar over it. Red works well as I had a similar problem with my alarm clock which was so bright that aeroplanes were diverting to land in our garden. I used a piece of red theatre lighting gel scrounged from my ex-stage manager daughter. Simple solutions can work - if not - go higher tech. doh

+1 for sticking some tape over the light - simple, and can be easily reversed - standard procedure for the engine management light on early Roadsters!

As I am in the middle of the dashboard upgrade I have access to all these parts, here is a pic on the light cluster. The Hi beam indicator is the centre one in the pic. Sticking tape or some other film over the light is about the only option. Like Tim I also think it's far too bright so I will be doing something before I put it all together again.
Cheers
John

I used a piece of Blue insulation tape - works well and still is blue when turned off!

I have the same problem but solved it with a small rubber domed grommet.
