When my 3 Wheeler came it was complete with a brand new Aero Racing Luggage Rack. So new it hasn't even been fitted so my next question is how on earth do you fit them - does anyone have any instructions?

There are at least two different designs of MMC luggage rack, maybe a photo of what you have would help. Does it come complete with the roll hoop mounting brackets and bolts? These require the roll hoops to be drilled but there are alternative ways using clamp on mountings that do not require you to dill the hoops. Mark H has a good clamp mount for his rack and there is some information here: http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/363116/4

Mine came with the MMC rack and it came with the clamp mounts and did not require any drilling.

Your rack is the original type supplied by MMC.

The brackets with the pins are bolted to the front of the rack. The other two brackets with length of tube welded to them are bolted through the roll hoops, you will need to drill the roll hoops to fit. The pins that you have bolted to the front of the rack then go into the tubes bolted to the roll hoops.

As Planenut says there are alternative ways to fit without drilling the roll hoops, using roll bar clamps or homemade clamps.

Christ I don't fancy drilling. I will look at Mark H's solution first.

Here's a better look (I have the extended roll-bars with the headrest). They bolt through the roll-bars, which are reputed to be hard to drill through, so I suspect you are right to look for alternatives. Mine came fitted by the factory as they were part of my build order.

This is a clamp on method, just to show what can be done. There are several variations on this that don't require the roll hoops to be drilled.

I bought the later clamp fitting rack. Not impressed. The angles bored through the clamp halves did not match the angle of the roll hoops. When the clamps were tightened the sliding dowels for the quick release locked solid. Only way to make the quick release system work, leaving the clamps tight on the roll hoops, was to drill the two outer dowel holes from 8mm to 10mm. Not what you expect for an accessory costing over £1000. (Dealer wanted an extra £80 to fit it - I now understand why). I always thought Harley accessories were expensive, but at least they fit.
