Hello all. Hope 2021 is going well for everyone! I've been using Picture Trail for my picture hosting for around 15 years now. I got notice that they're closing the site the end of February because of hosting costs and lack of customers etc. I see many here must use some type of hosting site for their pictures. I know places like Photobucket do this, but I've seen their picture pages and they're plastered with ads for lonesome guys...  I have an Apple iCloud account now and also a Dropbox account. Apple is quite cheap and Dropbox wants $7 or $8 / month for their basic upgrade. Also with their share folders etc, I find it complicated to use. With Picture Trail I just opened my photo albums and right clicked and copied the properties link to the .jpg and used the "insert picture" icon on the forums, easy peazy! I was paying $20/year at Picture Trail for hosting and feel that $50 to $60/year is too much to spend for such a low priority thing as hosting some of my picture for the ability to post in forums. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind this is an OLD DOG, not a new pup and complicated is not my thing this late in my life... Thanks in advance for the help guys! I use iCloud for all my personal storage, costs £6/month for 2TB, and works across MacOS and Windows devices, admittedly not good if you have an Android phone though, in which case Google photos is prolly the best solution I would think.

I use Imgur for picture hosting and have no complaints in the near five years I've been using it. Its free and very easy to copy the correct picture URL to display on forums, which seems to have many stumped with other hosts.

I use Google Photos too but as far as I'm aware it's only a storage, not a hosting site. Unless someone can show me otherwise I don't believe there is a way of getting a link that you can embed in another site like TM (I've just had a look but I can't see a method).
