Thanks so much for this great list. I have been searching for the proper amp rating of the alternator for my 2013 as I have to replace the rotor. The list shows this as a 38 amp alternator so I should be able to order an upgraded rotor made by Drag Specialties from Walmart.com. Good job guys.

Once you have confirmed that the Drag Specialties rotor is a good alternative, please let me know the part number details and I will add them to the list.

Curious as to how your rotor failed? Me too I’d have guessed it’s the stator wiring input short that’s caused the issue.

Latest updated version of the Alternative Parts List is here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/6z9ytoe4iqzsnhk/Updated%20list%203%20Feb%202021%20PDF.pdf?dl=0 Just a few additions bevel box seals, fuel hose connectors, oil hose, Ohlin numbers and more suitable batteries. As always, if you find something that fits and works, let me know and I will add it to the list to help other owners. Did the alternator rotor fit and work rgp???? I should just add that a link to this and other useful threads is now easily available via the "sticky" at the top of this forum "M3W resources". Just go to the last page for the current link to the PDF.
