Ciao John Interestingly enough we are thinking of ordering a very similar car. I originally also thought Ivory would be the colour for us but I am swinging more towards the deeper tones of Royal Ivory or Sand. I have to see the actual colours to finally decide. A factory visit is scheduled in about one month to make final decisions and test drive a new car.
So far my thinking is; bespoke Plus 4 with Royal Ivory or Sand paint, leather in Saddle Brown or Burgundy, reclining seats, stainless wire wheels, walnut dash, clock, radio, map light, sun visors, mohair hood (colour to be decided), luggage rack, bonnet strap, full width bumpers with over riders, and, if it becomes available as rumoured, air conditioning.
The idea is to have a very traditional looking car.
Now I know people are going to ask why I would want air conditioning on a sports car: where we live the summers can get very uncomfortable with temperatures in the high 30's and tropical humidity. When we get that kind of weather I would not mind having the option of the hood up for sun protection and the air conditioning on.
I can well believe when people tell me I will probably change my mind several times before the car is built!

If you are coming over to the factory Peter, perhaps we should all have a TM gathering there!

Peter When I was in the process of chosing my Mog / options I asked about the Airco and all the answers were "what for", "no need to" ... After a complete summer the Mog is HELL when it's over 35°C with no wind, especially on motorways, you have your legs boiling and it's an emergency to stop and walk (even if it's hot outside it's always colder than inside the Mog) ... And I never drive hood up (fortunatelly) The problem is that SWMBO does not want to come with me when it's hot outside .

I too am in the great position of having just ordered a +4 and am working out the options, pretty much as above. Having read the previous posts I have decided to forego the strap - although it does look the part. I was also advised that sun visors are a bit of a waste of time.
I have seen some colour samples and I like the look of a two-tone royal ivory & bentley bronze (dark brown-ish). But I can't work out what leather would go with this - tan or saddle brown?

Ciao Swan013
Thanks for confirming my idea about the aircon. Since you also live in a place with high summer temperatures I take your comment very seriously.

As always it comes down to personal taste. IMHO the darker upholstry goes with the lighter paint and the lighter upholstry with the darker paint. Given you have ordered a two tone car I would tend to concentrate on what goes best with the colour of the main body and not the mudguard (fender or wing depending on your language preferences) colour.
The thread Traditional Morgan Colour Samples [Photos] makes interesting and essential viewing, though perhaps more photos of the interiors of the cars would be good.
