The link above hopefully takes you to a photo of my +8 sometime before I owned it (G944 KOE). I would like to re-fit a roll bar and it would make sense to install the same deign it used to have here in the photo (hopefully the holes are all still there...). Can anyone identify the make of the roll bar please? Answers on a postcard to...Charlie. Thanks.

Probably a Safety Devices without a removable diagonal.

I need to see how its mounted in the car It's not a proper competition spec one
Could be Librands if its mounted on two subframes under the rear deck

Looks like the safety device I had in my +8 except my seat belts were fitted to the top corners.

It looks a bit high to be a Librands with standard height roll hoop. I have a Librands and the seat headrests are only just clearing it, even on my driver’s side with a slightly lowered seat. I seem to remember Librands might have a higher version as well. The librands comes with a bolt on bar to allow fitting four point seatbelts.

Originally I thought it might be a John Aley bar, but then I realised he had probably left the scene by 1990, so I am inclined to think it is a Safety Devices unit.

The back sloping bars bolt to the top of the wheel arches.there should be evidence of bolt holes in it.

I think the roll bar was removed by the previous owner, I certainly this plus 8 with a roll bar in early 2018 at Melvyn Rutters, try contacting the last owner if they are anything like me the roll bar will be cluttering up their workshop!
