I would put an electronic pressure sensor the filter replacing the one shot feed. The rest can then be left or removed as you wish.

Job done, used existing oil pressure sender and $20 of parts. So now the one shot oiler is removed and no worries about leaking pipes. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/08/02/IMG_1525.md.jpg)

i would like to do that also but first want to see if there is a electric gauge that "matches" the mechanical one now in the dashboard , so it blends in with the others.

I have not used the Oiler system nor the damper blade setup on any of My 3 Morgans for 20 Years. I have used thrust bearings under the main Spring. One Peter Mulberry unit, One John Sheally II design and One supplied by "Suplex Kit.

Ok, finally giving in and planning on removing the oiler lines back to the firewall and putting in plugs. Does anyone know what size plugs fit the oiler?
Thanks

Confirming - the 1/8” BSPP plugs fit perfectly while decommissioning my oiler. It’s an easy enough to find plug but to find in brass I snagged a pair on eBay, cheap. Thanks all!

i stuck some 1/8 grease nipples on top of the kingpins, primarily to keep the crud out.

Yes, I have them too, and I agree, they’re only to keep it clean. I think at some point we’ll go to solid oiler bolts. The only grease that matters I think is in the spindle, so that’s why you get the spiral grooved bushings. I also did the Fred Sisson trick of using an O-ring held in by a small slice of old bushing. Regular greasing the spindle should take care of any part of the kingpin that’s sliding through the spindles.

I've just blanked off my oiler, remove the 2 nylon pipes to the tops of kingpins and remove the brass fittings....now here is the interesting bit With the brass fitting you will notice that the nylon entry to the fitting is 5mm in the brass fitting....grab a M6 tap wrench and tap it M6 and then fit a short M6 Allen bolt...ensure you use oil proof gasket sealant on all threads...a neat job and no special blanking plugs required..... Later remove the oiler switch and pressure sender and locate it on the engine....but I await recommendations for an easy fix..and fit... DSC_0320 by Robert & Ali Davies, on Flickr
