Some serious graft the last few days fitting some new doors that have been on order since August, & I made a promise back then "by December, no problem" but unfortunately there's a nationwide shortage of uPVC door blanks

Daughter's don't really understand lead times...

Not today but on Tuesday afternoon.
One of the boys made a snowplough out of an old ride on mower as a project when he was a teenager.
Try as I might I couldn't get it to run properly on Tuesday then the gearbox jammed so I robbed the blade off the front and cobbled this together.
Works ok, could be doing with more traction though, first one had welded diff and chains on the rear tyres.

Very smart. I just have the manual snow shovel, but it gave a good workout for a few days.

Every time we get snow I decide to make a plough for the front of the Defender ..... and every time it thaws I forget all about it 🙂

That looks really useful ..... must save a lot of shovelling!

We hardly ever need to clear snow, I just use the link box on the back of the tractor to shove it out of the way. Appeals to the domestic management along the lines of 'Of course, if we had a mini digger I could use it for clearing snow too' have sadly always landed on deaf ears.
