In the UK drivers seem not to understand snow. . If you leave it on the car roof & brake hard it will slide onto the windscreen & block your vision.
But how lazy & stupid must that driver be.

John as you say snow in the roof can slide of & block you vision. Its an offence to drive with your windows obscured or snow on the roof. I saw a neighbour yesterday with half of rear window covered in snow. How long would that have taken to clear?

We refer to them here as "tank drivers" as they seem to peer through a tiny opening and think they are invincible.
Idiots - it only takes a minute or two to clear snow and defrost.

I just tell my Volvo XC60 and my Honda e when I want to leave for work and the preconditioning does the work for me (both cars still locked and I could still be in bed!)
