I have spoken yesterday with the factory because I really need a solution for the seats and they informed me that they are working on a V1.3 sprung seat with air chambers to increase comfort. They should become available in April/May. I will make an appointment as soon as they are available to get my seats changed.

That is good news and hopefully MMC will pick up the bill for the work.

Richard a great joke. The first owner of my Brooklands paid MMC over £2000 to get the ECU chip to stop rev hang within the warranty period.

Richard a great joke. The first owner of my Brooklands paid MMC over £2000 to get the ECU chip to stop rev hang within the warranty period. If I recall correctly, Adrian Slade has a similar issue and fought MMC tooth and nail to get the problem solved. He didn't pay, but never explained. Perhaps he was gagged by MMC so he couldn't explain the details. I think that started his disillusionment with Morgan, he tried a S1 Aero, but left the marque in the end. One of the reasons I bought Tarka was that it had spent 9 months as a press car, after spending 6 months as a development prototype. Yes, it had a high mileage for a Morgan but it was sorted. Or so I thought. It went back to MMC 3 times to sort out the front N/S brake, the ATF heat exchanger leak and the failed switch pannel. Since then it has (touch wood) been flawless, less trouble than the two Mercedes we have....!

Well touch wood Belle has been a very good girl for me. Our love affair continues. When we drove Route 66 backwards from LA to Chicago and #3 son were along as far as Flagstaff AZ , after which it was #3 son & myself. We picked up an SUV in LA but then got the Mustang in Vegas. I hogged it from Vegas to the canyon & Flagstaff ( who's the Daddy?). Driving into Seligman ( the birthplace of the route 66 mythology & the Cars films) solo with & #3 son in the tin top, with the sun out & top down , the radio started playing I'm in love with my car by Queen. Perfect I thought . We had walkie talkies to communicate between the tin top and the 'Stang so I called them up to hear my vocal rendition of this favourite. A great moment in life.
