Thanks Will, strange they are shown in Europe as I thought it was the United States only that got the 18" versions, I just had a quick look on Michelin USA and low and behold.. both 245/40 and 255/35 PS4S are available for 18" fitment..
Question is, how to get them!
oh, there's plenty of services that you can ship to in the USA, and they'll forward them to the UK - likely to charge full import tax & duties though. Try this for a search listI've used MyUS.com - until they opened a 40 year old art book's seal and then tried to charge me 20% vat (it's 5% on art, mostly 0% on books) but they'd destroyed the value of the book by breaking the seal... Not a problem you'd have with tyres! Will

It does not need to be related to the issue, just that you breached the contract if they are being arses.
As you say, just tell them if you do make any change, most are pretty good about it.
When I had the Skyline GTR tuned I told them expecting to break out the cheque book but they were pretty good. A small hike which was reasonable given it was ballistic.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Given the amount of action the insurance assessors are having with Morgan at the moment sticking 255 35 on the OZs instead of 225 40 your asking for trouble its a conformity issue. Some companies even check tyre pressures if your involved in an accident. Your choice of course I will stick with Chris Lowrance's recommendations........Em As long as you declare it you should be fine, to be honest though unless you are being silly they are a correct fitment tyre for the wheel size so they would have a job to prove it was the primary factor if you didn't tell them. Although Chris Lawrence did a great job every video I have seen of an S1 being driven in anger it is flailing wildly in over steer, so I believe fundamentally there is a balance issue when pushing on - and it makes sense the later cars have staggerd fitment as a result.

What is the cause/solution to this?

Does it affect all Aeros? Does beefing it up on a road car have any benefits?

Nick I’m sure yours will survive the Sainsbury’s run Sainsburys! Only Waitrose for my Morgan...  In all seriousness though, I would like to take it on track and a skid pan when done.. (Albeit probably a Morgan track day)

& now Michelin tells me 18" PS4 S fit my Aero :-) https://www.michelin.co.uk/auto/tyres/michelin-pilot-sport-4-s offers 225/40 R18 92Y XL front and 245/40 R18 97Y XL rear Maybe I need to go for a drive to wear out the Yokohamas! Will
