Rudy,
That 'workshop' looks more like a hospital operating theatre!

Cheers,

Colour coordinated with the Morgan I see!

British Leyland used to export cars in CKD form (Completely Knocked Down)- which means crated components with fully assembled shells.

Actually DaveW if my memory is correct,----- British Leyland used to export complete cars that became "knock-down"
after they had been driven for a few months innocent(if you were lucky!!!) Hey ho and another thread starts....

BL were let down by using poor quality steel Davis, so things just rusted away. Most of the mechanical stuff worked well enough.

All my BL Cars presented a major battle with rust despite a major effort on my part. The paintwork on my 1980 MGB was shocking.

Well this one was originally built at Malvern but "slightly" modified in the good old US of A .........

Looks to me as though it is still wearing a Morgan badge. Perhaps it is the ultimate automotive "Q Ship"

..........cars that became "knock-down".......

Or knocked-up as the Americans would say? grin2

Correct me if I'm wrong, but part of the Plus 8 'charm' is that the Rover v-8 engine was used consecutively for 35 years by Morgan, and that was more by accident than design. Whatever one's viewpoint on 'diluting' the Morgan essence, you surely have to sympathise with a car company at the mercy of others for sourcing powertrains in this day and age.
