Thanks for all the kind comments. It was a great day although the fun didn't last long enough. The Prosecco car is the KH auto Plus Four demo BTW. Pic of its interior also with classic brown leather combo. The bowl underneath rad and stain on ground may explain the technical glitch which put paid to my test drive  Ah ha - can see that is a PlusFour now.....great colour tho!

I can not imagine to like a Morgan with auto transmission. And the modern downsizing with bi turbo is a hurdle for me. I have it in my daily driver, that’s hard enough.

The auto plus four is a stunning car. The power is always there. But with no traction control I think it is dangerous vs a manual.

I've driven both CX chassis cars and agree with almost everything he says.
But I still prefer my Plus 8: better sound, far better brakes and for me, the seat is much more comfortable.
As a gift I'd take a manual Plus 4 with Sports Exhaust.... but not instead of Tarka.

The Plus Four and Six don't have twin turbo's Jan but a single twin scroll turbo. The exhaust ports are equally split to blow on the inner and outer scroll. One aiding the other through the rev range to even out boost and reduce lag. We bought a Mini that proudly displayed "Turbo Twin Power" on its BMW engine and was initially disappointed it only had the one turbo until I discovered how it worked.

One of our centre members has a Gold early edition Plus Four and he had a rad change at the factory ,A problem on the first cars .
