After the fun and games getting the car started with the battery problems, I finally picked her up today and drove her home in lovely sunny weather. Oh, I’ve missed her! And missed driving her... Then after a check over off to get the MOT done. Again beautiful weather, and as the receptionist told me she had passed, I noticed out the window that the heavens had opened. The tester had kindly kept her inside, so I could dress up in the dry, but the trip home was very wet. Rain certainly hurts at 40mph. She is now dried off and tucked up for the first time in her new garage. What a great day!

I went out for a quick 20 mile loop to test how the new Emerald ECU worked in 38F degree weather. It did just fine, althought when the engine is cold it needs some idle time to warm up enough to run properly. It does NOT run as lean as the MC ECU.

Nice to know that the G56 Emerald ECU runs things so well, that sounds nice and smooth. It may be the future if S&S ECU's become a supply problem. Are you still using the MMC stage 1 exhausts ?

Yes I am. Once I have run this a few hundred miles I might put on the stock mufflers that have had a baffleectomy and see if the ECU senses it. I must say, the Emerald ECU is much easier to get to than the MMC ECU. The MMC ECU is a proper PITA to get to for anything.

got out yesterday for the first time this year. I do admit the oil temp on start up was 35f, but the sun was shining and the ice was clear from the roads. So on with the long johns and a tour through Christiansburg and Blacksburg and back home going about 30 miles. The oil was about 200f when parked.
